The specialised techniques used for permanent cosmetics are often referred to as “micropigmentation”, “micro pigment implantation” or “dermagraphics”.
The cosmetic implantation technique deposits coloured pigments into the dermal layer of the skin. The results are beautiful, immediate and permanent! A refreshingly, radiant yet natural look is achieved that cannot be duplicated by traditional cosmetics. Each treatment is as unique as the individual receiving it.
Pigments used for micro pigmentation are non-toxic and non-reactive cosmetic grade iron oxides that are very safe to use. They can be custom mixed to achieve desired shades and intensity.
Micro pigmentation procedures can last anywhere from 2 to 5 years depending on after procedure practices, daily skin regiments and the intensity of the chosen pigments.

Free Areola clinic runs on some Fridays throughout the month, please email the salon to enquire about this clinic – if you’d like to get in quicker then you can come to the paid clinic which is £150 per nipple per session. Scar tissue and different skin types may hold the ink differently so this is why you may need another session about 8 weeks later.
Over 2 and a half years is full price for all procedures.

You will have a thorough consultation beforehand to discuss what type of look you would like to achieve and to agree the colour, position and shape of the desired effect and find out about the process.
I prefer you take time to reflect on your decision and if you have anymore questions it gives you time to come back and I will happily spend more time with you.
I am also required to do a patch test and this should be done at least 24 hours before the treatment, to make sure you’re not allergic to the pigment.
I’ll draw out the shape with brow pencil, double checking and measuring. Once we’ve both agreed on the shape that’s when I will start tattooing. A new sterile single-use is always used. You will need two applications spaced six weeks apart, and “top-up” treatments after one to three years, which will cost extra.
I will apply an aftercare cream, and get you to apply this twice daily if you feel the area drying out and repeat this for up to 14 days, or until the area has fully healed.
The area may feel itchy or be quite dry while it is healing.
Initially, the colour may appear very intense. It takes about four weeks for the colour to fade to its permanent shade.
You will get a full aftercare instruction sheet to take away with you and a sachet of aftercare cream.
